Come visit us at the SF Flower & Garden Show!

Posted on Mar 9, 2012 | 2 Comments

As you guys know, we like to jump in with both feet. So heck — why not do two SmallSpace Exhibits and a Product booth at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show!?

Yes, we might be a little bit crazy, but luckily we have some awesome partners — CompoClay and Lila B. Design — helping us out. We hope you guys can join us at the show (going on Mar. 21-25)! You can pick up discount ticket here ($15.50, reg $20).

SmallSpaces Sneek Peek:

The Contemporary Chic garden uses strong shapes, and contrasting materials and textures to emphasize the design. We also use multiples of the same plant to create a mass effect. Overall, the contemporary garden is all about creating strong geometry and distinctive forms. With contemporary design, less is more…

The really cool Living Wall Planter you see in the back is a brand new product from CompoClay — made using only green materials (mostly sand, minerals and water). They’ll also be doing a giveaway for one of their garden accents at our Contemporary SmallSpace. So make sure to stop by!

The Cottage Cozy garden is the exact opposite of the contemporary garden. There’s zero symmetry, and crowded flowers seem to take over the whole place. But it’s meant to look unplanned and untended… that’s the cottage way!

This garden has an informal design, uses lots of plants close together and includes traditional materials like stone. With cottage gardens, more is…well…more.

Each SmallSpace Garden will be accompanied by…

A gorgeous terrarium (one in the contemporary style, one cottage style) designed by Lila B. Design, a floral and garden design company based in San Francisco. You’ll also be able to pick up some nifty “How to Design Your Own Terrarium” pamphlets, too — so you can make your own!

About our Partners:

CompoClay offers stylish, eco-friendly home accents, garden decor and architectural elements.
